Child Development Assessment Unit

Create Design are assisting the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing in Malta to rehouse and bring together the national Child Development Assessment Unit (CDAU) and national Child and Young Peoples Service (CYPS). Both units together are responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and ongoing therapy for all children and youths with developmental, physical and/or mental difficulties. The brief is first to provide emergency rehousing within a temporary site for 2 years, following which both units will move to a permanent site within a new Health Village. Create have been tasked to provide feasibility studies for the Ministry, help mobilise works within the temporary site and provide concept designs for the permanent site.
