Proposed works include internal alterations to enable a sympathetic conversion of the existing Grade II listed building to accommodate 8 luxury residential units.

There are no external alterations proposed to the building, with the exception of one enlargement of an existing aperture at the rear of the building, to accommodate an escape door. Every effort has been made to maintain as much of the original subdivision of spaces as possible, and reuse pre- existing risers for services. Where it is necessary to enlarge existing spaces, it is proposed not to demolish existing partitions wherever possible, but to introduce apertures that will allow the retention of existing cornicing and original volumes.
