St. Clements House - Communal Garden

Location: London, UK

Sector: Landscape

Garden for Senior Living Scheme.

The design for St Clements House garden has been developed in accordance with the planning stage design. The main focus for the residents is a sensory garden that extends around the lawn and terrace areas.

The sensory garden includes bird and insect-attracting plants and feeders. All five senses are catered for. The sunny southern site perimeter has a continuation of the sensory planting with location-appropriate plants. It is shielded on the corner with a yew hedge.

The shady areas to the north include low-maintenance decorative grasses that will grow well in the smaller areas and shade but still provide impact and visual interest.
