Aurora Centre

Location: Morden, UK

Sector: Education

Client: South Thames College

The Aurora Centre is a non-residential specialist centre for 16 to 23-year-olds with autistic spectrum disorder and complex needs.

The building is highly specialised to provide the best environment for these students and is carefully crafted to be calm, friendly and adapted to suit the students and faculty.

The centre provides accommodation for teaching to allow bespoke educational curriculums tailored for the specific needs of each student. Based around three areas – living, work and community – the facility helps develop students’ independence and integrates with the main college campus where possible.
